Michael Katráková was born in 1988 in Prague, Czech Republic. Since 1995 she had attended the Prague Philharmonic Children’s choir, with whom she toured numerous concerts in the Czech Republic and Europe.
In 2004 she attended the Prague Conservatory, where she was chosen to the class of professor Brigita Šulcová. During her studies she was repeatedly selected for representative concerts of the Czech President’s Office.
In 2008 she participated in the contest Ad honorem Mozart, where she was the only one in her age group who made it to the final III. round and took third place.
Since 2007 she periodically sings Christmas Mass by Jan Jakub Ryba with the Symphony Orchestra of Karlovy Vary.
In 2010 she attended the XV. International Interpret Seminar, where she sang and received a great ovation at the final concert with the Symphony Orchestra of Karlovy Vary under the leadership of František Drs.
Since 2008 Michael Katráková regularly performs in the Czech Republic and abroad.
During her studies at the conservatory Michaela Katráková started to cooperate with Czech and foreign conductors: Miloš Krejčí (Czech Rep.), Richard Hein (Germany), Enrico Dovico (Vienna), Mika Ajshenholts (Sweden), Heiko Mathias Förster (Germany), Walter Attanasi (Italy), František Babický (Czech Rep.) etc.
She finished her studies with a well received graduation concert in June 2011; the program consisted of a wide range of world famous arias. For example, she sang the aria Pace, pace, mio Dio from the opera Forza del Destino, as well as arias from the opera Rusalka. The brilliantly interpreted aria Regnava nel Silenzio from the opera Lucia di Lammermoor was a pleasant surprise of the concert. The professional jury has classified her with the best classification.
In September 2011 Michaela Katráková visited the music studio of dr. Jelena Noskova and conductor Richard Hein. She works with them to these days.
At the same month she was invited by the Tatar State Academic Opera to Kazan in Russia, where she visited a singing master class of the Tatar national artist, Eduard Treskin. At the same time she was invited to play in Mozart’s Magic Flute as First Lady. The tour of Tatar State Opera was in the Netherlands and Belgium from 25th October till 15th November. Michaela Katráková was singing at all of the 18 completely sold out performances.

26th November 2011 took place the evening charity concert "Art For Life", whose main star was the famous Czech singer Bara Basiková. Michaela Katraková was invited to the event like a young talented opera singer.
In the autumn 2011 Michaela Katrakova became a special guest of the Prague State Opera. Immediately after the return from a very successful tour, Michaela Katráková started to study the role of Clarissa from the opera Drei Pintos by Carl Maria Weber. This opera was staged in the Prague State Opera under the direction of Jiří Nekvasil and under the batons of conductors Heiko Mathias Förster and Richard Hein. Michaela Katráková had her personal premiere on stage of the Prague State Opera on 7th February 2012.

At the end of 2011, she was invited to the Theater of F.X. Šalda in Liberec for studying the role of Ännchen from the opera Der Freischütz by Carl Maria Weber. This opera is very popular in the Liberec theater, and Michaela Katráková had her first performance there on 18th February 2012.

21st April 2012 performed in a concert performance of the famous Italian opera Tosca. It was led by conductor Walter Attanasi and the concert was in Rudolfinum in Prague.
During the spring 2013 was Michaela Katrakova invited to play the role of Violeta Valéry in famous opera La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. The premier show was in city theater in Ústí nad Labem 9th June 2013.

In summer 2013 Michaela Katrakova perform in role of Violeta during the summer tour of La traviata. She sung with famous tenor Miroslav Dvorsky.
Besides the agreed performances in the theaters and concerts, she is visiting the master classes of the Viennese conductors and experienced vocal consultants.
Michaela Katráková also sings a non-opera repertoire with a great success. She regularly sings jazz and swing songs like encores at her successful and very popular concerts.
